What is pregnancy massage
Pregnancy is one of the most exciting and stressful times in your life. Massage can help to ease tensions and the aches and pains that are unique to you and your pregnancy, leaving you feeling nurtured, serene and tension free. Mums to be can use this time to have the space to feel really connected to their baby and leave the massage in a deep state of relaxation.
This is a 30 minute gentle massage focusing upon relaxation. The massage initially includes face, neck and shoulders, before moving down to the feet where you can enjoy a massage which lightly targets reflexology points.
I recommend that this treatment is carried out once a month
£35 half an hour
2nd and third trimester
As a mum to be getting further into your pregnancy your body really begins to change and in view of that much of this massage is carried out whilst you’re lying on your side with cushions and pillows to help ensure that you remain comfortable throughout the treatment.
We start by massaging your back, hips and legs where you could be beginning to experience some discomfort, this will help to ease your aches and pains, then turn you over to gently lay on your back, again with plenty of pillows and cushions as required to keep you comfortable before massaging, your face, neck and head, tummy and then ending with your feet.
I would recommend that this treatment is carried out at least once a month and in the final month weekly is ideal. The massage lasts for one hour
£45 one hour
Pregnancy creates enormous changes in a woman’s body and post pregnancy massage can ease muscular fatigue and re-balance the body again. Tiredness is a real issue for new mothers risking baby blues, stress and anxiety. This relaxing post pregnancy massage can provide a new mum with a little time out to relax and concentrate on her own body for an hour. We will concentrate upon lymphatic points to help to stimulate the expulsion of toxins and work around lower back and hips that can remain sore after the birth of the baby, along with the back, abdomen neck and head. We shall also stimulate reflex points on the feet to help with relaxation and promote detoxing after labour.
I would recommend that this treatment can be carried out one week after birth and then weekly for 6-8 weeks

All nursing and new mothers are unique and there will be a full consultation where each treatment can be tailored to suit the client.
